Pool, where have you been

my whole life?

The temps. are up and so is the inflatable pool! She only whined a little when we plopped her down into it. Everything was going well until she tried to reach a little too far for one of the toys. But all in all we think the baby pool was a huge success. Here are some shots from Mia's first aquatic adventure:

Special edition

Welcome to this special Fourth of July video edition of NetMia. While the little one was fast asleep before any of the holiday festivities began this evening, she did manage to get in some fun of her own this afternoon. Here is Mia enjoying the Jumperoo. Apparently it's much more fun now that her feet can reach the ground. Sorry about the quality of the film and our bad editing...we're only just now figuring this out.

Piano woman

Mia's first living room jam session:At this point she seems more interested in the moving plastic animals than the actual music, but hey- it's a start.

Tub Toys

Mia has always loved staring at the flowing water in her bath tub. We've tried introducing tub toys before, but nothing could pull her attention away from the glittering ripples or splashing faucet...until now. Enter Aunt Lizzie's Sassy brand tub toys. They float, bubble, drip fountains of water. What could be better?

Blue Jean Baby

Back in rural western Mass., Mia sported her very own pair of blue jeans today. They went so well with Cousin Jenn's "Organic Baby" onesie.
The pants were just stiff enough to enable her to sit up on her own! Mia must be feeling much older with her newest achievement--just don't remind her that they are only size 3 mos.
